Madeleine Blaess documentary film

We have made a 35 minute documentary film based on Madeleine’s diarised account of her life in Paris during the occupation.

Produced by filmmaker James Parsons and Wendy Michallat, the documentary is scripted around Madeleine’s diary entries. It includes interviews with historians of the period as well as with friends of Madeleine who knew her later in life.

The film is a rare and engaging story about a British woman living under Nazi rule in occupied France. Its content is designed to be of interest to academics, the general public and school children.
